Our session

An industry-wide initiative to help decarbonize healthcare system supply chains: insights from the PEG LCA Consortium

5 November — 15:30 – 16:00

Healthcare systems worldwide face pressure to decarbonize, with ambitious regulations demanding rapid action. Yet, fragmented approaches have made it nearly impossible for suppliers to respond effectively. This round table brings together leaders from the PEG (Pharma Environmental Group) LCA Consortium, an industry-wide initiative designed to tackle these challenges head-on.

In this session, speakers will explore the drivers of this collective initiative, highlight the concrete ways it is helping advance the decarbonization of healthcare supply chains, and discuss the challenges that lie ahead shifting from measurement to systemic transformation. From establishing a common standard to mobilizing entire organizations, the consortium journey provides insightful lessons in collaboration, innovation, and scale.
