Join Quantis and the Pharma LCA Consortium at Net-Zero Life Sciences 2025 — driving decarbonization in pharma.
For the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors, achieving net-zero emissions requires a careful balance between sustainability goals, regulatory demands and operational performance.
The 4th Annual Net-Zero Life Sciences Forum 2025, which is happening in Dusseldorf on 4 and 5 November, aims to unite sustainability leaders, engineers, regulators and innovators to define the next phase of decarbonization for the pharmaceutical manufacturing and healthcare ecosystem.
During the event, hear from Emmanuel Hembert and members of the Pharmaceutical LCA Consortium as they share the journey behind developing a unified standard — and how it’s driving the sector beyond compliance toward true transformation.
Our session
An industry-wide initiative to help decarbonize healthcare system supply chains: insights from the PEG LCA Consortium
5 November — 15:30 – 16:00
Healthcare systems worldwide face pressure to decarbonize, with ambitious regulations demanding rapid action. Yet, fragmented approaches have made it nearly impossible for suppliers to respond effectively. This round table brings together leaders from the PEG (Pharma Environmental Group) LCA Consortium, an industry-wide initiative designed to tackle these challenges head-on.
In this session, speakers will explore the drivers of this collective initiative, highlight the concrete ways it is helping advance the decarbonization of healthcare supply chains, and discuss the challenges that lie ahead shifting from measurement to systemic transformation. From establishing a common standard to mobilizing entire organizations, the consortium journey provides insightful lessons in collaboration, innovation, and scale.
