Collective action to harmonize environmental data and accelerate progress toward a net-zero fashion industry

Reading Time: 1 min

Leading luxury fashion houses — including CHANEL, Ermenegildo Zegna Group, Kering, Moncler Group and Prada Group — have joined forces through The Fashion Pact’s European Accelerator to accelerate supply chain decarbonization, starting in Italy.

With sustainability expertise from Quantis, a BCG company, the initiative harmonizes how environmental metrics are collected and used — helping suppliers streamline reporting, improve data quality and accelerate decarbonization.

The Accelerator’s first milestone is an optional, non-exhaustive supplier questionnaire covering key environmental indicators such as energy, water and waste. By aligning on shared metrics, brands and suppliers can focus their efforts where it matters most: cutting emissions and building more resilient, sustainable value chains.

This collaborative model demonstrates the power of collective action in driving systemic change — translating shared ambition into scalable solutions for a net-zero fashion future.

It’s a model for how collaboration and science-based guidance can unlock real progress across complex value chains.
