IOFI is launching a new Scope 3 Emissions Factors Repository for the flavor industry, developed in partnership with Quantis.
Developed over the past three years by Quantis in collaboration with eight IOFI member companies, this repository provides harmonized emission-factor reference points for the most commonly used natural and synthetic ingredients in the flavor sector. It compiles data from participating companies and peer-reviewed scientific literature into a transparent, consistent resource covering approximately 50 ingredients and more than 150 archetypes differentiated by feedstock and origin.
This webinar will introduce the IOFI Scope 3 Emissions Factors Repository and its underlying methodology. It will explore how the repository can support Scope 3 greenhouse gas assessments in the flavor industry, help respond to data requests, and inform emissions reduction efforts.
What you’ll learn:
- The background and objectives of the IOFI Scope 3 Emissions Factors Repository
- The methodology underpinning the emission-factor modeling
- How the repository can support Scope 3 greenhouse gas assessments in the flavor industry
The webinar will include a live Q&A session with project experts, including Isabelle de Morand (Quantis).
