From regulation to transformation: navigating fashion’s next phase of accountability.
Quantis contributed to the conversation at the summit and hosted a private session to help leaders translate EPR requirements into actionable strategies.
The Global Fashion Summit focuses on how the fashion industry can move from ambition to execution in the face of growing regulatory pressure and market expectations. Key topics include circular business models, product design, supply chain transformation and the increasing impact of policies such as Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR). For brands, the challenge is not only compliance, but understanding cost implications, redesigning products and systems, and building the capabilities needed to scale solutions across the value chain.
Alongside the summit, Quantis co-hosted an invitation-only, closed-door discussion with BCG, bringing together a select group of industry leaders, on May 6th. The session did focus on EPR in the fashion sector, with an emphasis on ecomodulation, cost implications and the practical steps needed to prepare and respond. Participants did explore how to embed circular design principles into business decisions, anticipate financial impacts and define clear actions for implementation — moving from regulatory awareness to operational readiness.
Fashion CFO agenda 2026
A new report developed by BCG and Global Fashion Agenda (GFA) explores how CFOs can turn rising sustainability-related costs and risks into financial resilience and competitive advantage. As regulation, resource volatility and climate impacts reshape cost structures, finance leaders play a critical role in translating these pressures into clear priorities and measurable business outcomes.
From carbon pricing and EPR fees to climate-driven supply disruption, the financial stakes are growing – yet many organizations have not embedded these factors into core financial decision-making. The report outlines practical actions for integrating sustainability into planning, performance management and capital allocation, helping CFOs manage risk, control costs and unlock value creation.
