THE ROLE
Quantis seeks to recruit a highly motivated and dynamic IT Support Technician to join our team. The IT Support Technician will support the Quantis teams (primarily Quantis France, potentially other international offices) with their IT needs, which focus on users’ support (hardware & software), administration of shared IT services, maintenance of Windows Remote Desktop infrastructure, and assisting the deployment and maintenance of our web solutions.

- You desire to work in a dynamic team for a company with strong values.
- You have a professional certification as IT Technician.
- You have 1-2 years’ experience as IT Support Technician in an SME or as member of an IT team in a large organization.
- You have experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
- You have previous experience supporting users in Mac environment.
- You are able to support users remotely for both hardware and software issues, mainly MS Office.
- You have strong communication and listening skills.
- You are flexible, positive, creative and proactive.
- You have a service and problem-solving mindset.
- You have a good working proficiency in written and spoken English. French and/or German would be a plus.
AS AN IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN, HERE’S A PREVIEW OF WHAT TYPE OF WORK YOUR DAYS WILL INCLUDE:
Working with another and reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, the IT Support Technician will have the following responsibilities:
Administration of internal IT services (30%)
- Maintenance of IT administration procedures as directed by IT infrastructure
- Administration of shared IT services
- Timely user accounts creation, suspension or deletion
- Distribution group or Shared Mail file administration (creation, assignments, deletion)
- Coordination with external IT services providers
- Asset management- ensure the company fleet of hardware is adequately documented in the ServiceNow system.
- Manage and follow up on incidents in the company ticketing system.
User support (60%)
- Maintenance of user guides to internal IT services and procedures in the Knowledge Management system
- Documentation of IT processes and procedures
- Hardware & software support
- Computer installations, configurations, updates or remote assistance
- Focal point for users IT support (300+ users worldwide) in conjunction with IT team
- Deliver internal communication on good IT practices.
- Purchase and maintain conference room equipment in good working order.
Administration of Windows Server (10%)
- Maintenance of Windows Servers hosting specialized LCA software
- Undertake yearly software upgrades to LCA software
- Set up and maintenance of RDP accesses
- Assist central helpdesk with troubleshooting.
- Specialized software maintenance
- User accounts creation or deletion
- Databases updates
- Software updates
- Monitoring of software and databases back-up
- Monthly disaster recovery checks
SOME OTHER DETAILS TO CONSIDER:
- Contract type: Permanent, full-time position (CDI)
- Location: Paris (2ème arrondissement). Hybrid working scheme.
- Optimal start date: As soon as possible
- Ability to travel to other European Quantis offices (Zurich, Lausanne, Milan) for short term assignments, as needed.
