From October 23rd to 27th 2023, the Quantis team was at the 2023 Textile Exchange Conference in London.
For more than two decades, Textile Exchange has brought together leaders and experts from across the fashion, textile, and apparel industry, providing a space to collaboratively explore challenges and solutions to overcoming the climate crisis.
The event’s theme that year was “Bringing materials production into the climate conversation.” It aimed to promote a global production model that replenished nature rather than depleted it. The conference offered a crucial opportunity to foster alignment around best practices for a resilient future.

Quantis
Philipp Meister, Quantis’ Global Fashion & Sporting Goods Lead, took part in a panel discussion unveiling the content of the BCGXTextileExchangexQuantis Report, titled: Sustainable Raw Materials Will Drive Profitability for Fashion and Apparel Brands.
“Fashion and apparel brands need to take immediate action to invest in the supply of preferred raw materials, thereby securing resources and transforming their business models for a sustainable future,” explains Philipp, as coauthor of the report. “This will require brands to rethink product portfolios, strengthen supplier relationships, and build company-wide engagement—all of which could take years.”
