THE ROLE

The Global Nature-Water Lead will ensure Quantis’ excellence in the field of Nature-Water and support our clients’ transformation towards sustainability. Working across all Quantis branches and animating a community of Nature specialists, you will lead the definition and implementation of Quantis’ offering across branches and focus sectors. Your main mission will be to maintain Quantis at the cutting edge of expertise in Nature and more specifically in Water to maximize the quality and impact of our advice to transform our clients, and to continuously improve our offerings.

As the Global Nature – Water Lead you will:

  • Be a subject matter expert in Nature related topics, with a specialization in Water, recognized internally and externally to provide expert level input into projects
  • Deliver enterprise-level transformational initiatives at key account level related to Nature and in particular Water
  • Develop credible, trusted relationships with senior client project contacts and proactively seek client executive sponsor exposure
  • Play a proactive, key role in sales processes for transformational project opportunities

You will be successful in your role if you:

  • Can quickly dive in, understand client needs and shape relevant recommendations
  • Creatively integrate and apply your expertise to meet unique, dynamic client needs in context of key accounts and transformative initiatives
  • Efficiently create and apply innovative approaches to client sustainability problems and inspire client understanding in the rationale and direction needed to make transformative change
  • Are perceived as an effective leader in the Nature community

 

DOES THIS DESCRIBE YOU AND YOUR NEXT ROLE? 

  • You’re motivated to put your technical expertise to work towards our mission of aligning businesses with Planetary Boundaries. 
  • For 10+ years you’ve been sharpening your nature related and broader environmental skills and technical expertise in a professional setting, ideally with some experience in the consulting and private sector.
  • You have a strong scientific background (ideally with master’s or PhD degree) and a deep intellectual and business curiosity.
  • You have strong peer leadership, have an empowering approach and can animate a community of experts across different geographies.
  • You are at ease with managing multiple projects and collaborating with stakeholders at different levels to collectively address client inquiries, supporting the business development efforts by providing expert opinion on how to solve client challenges.
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are comfortable with ambiguity and change.
  • You communicate effectively in fluent English. Fluency in another language (German/French/Italian) would be a plus.
  • You have strong communication skills for external marketing positioning representing your company in conferences, specific events and hosting webinars.
